Uganda's Museveni picked to run for fourth term, Reuters (2010)

This article reports on President Museveni's decision to run for a fourth term. The National Resistance Movement backed Museveni's candidacy for the 2011 presidential elections. Experts believe that this time it will difficult for Museveni to win the elections, as supports at home is falling. Museveni will face the main opposition candidate, Kizza Besigye, leader pf the Forum for Democratic Change party. Besigye, Museveni's former political ally, used to be his doctor during the war.
