Viet Nam: Vietnam holds National Assembly election, Xinhua News (2011)

This article reports on Viet Nam’s elections held on 22 May 2011. It is reported that around 62 million voters across Viet Nam cast their ballots 500 members of Vietnam's 13th National Assembly (NA) and 301,954 members of the People's Councils at all levels for the 2011-2016 tenure. The assembly will later endorse the one-party state's new government.
