Special Vote
1. Who qualifies?
Special voting is prescribed by section 33 of the Electoral Act with provisions of chapter 3 of the Election Regulation. If one of those categories applies to you, you can apply for special vote and vote before Election Day. 2. Notify Provincial IEC
You need to notify the Chief Electoral Officer of the following:
- Your intention to vote;
- The place where you intend to cast your vote and
- Complete VEC1 form.
The completed form must return to the Chief Electoral Officer, by hand; mail, post or fax to one of the following addresses:
