Dr. Matthias Catón
Since 2008 Dr. Matthias Catón is working at the World Economic Forum in Geneva, currently as Head of Project Management for the Global Redesign Initiative. He is also a Global Leadership Fellow. Before that he was a Programme Officer at International IDEA in Stockholm and a Research Associate and Lecturer at the Institute of Political Science at the University of Heidelberg. Among other things, he also worked as an intern at the Chilean Secretary General to the President (Ministerio Secretaría General de la Presidencia) in Santiago and for the Betsy Gotbaum for Public Advocate campaign in New York City. Catón studied Political Science, Medieval and Contemporary History and Economics at the University of Heidelberg and the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in Santiago. He holds the degrees of Magister Artium (M. A.) and Dr. rer. pol.
