  • Dec 03, 2011: BRIDGE Train the Facilitator training for EMB staff representatives The ACEEEO through a sub-grant from IFES provides institutional capacity building with BRIDGE methodology for representatives of national election management bodies from Central and Eastern-European Region.

    This is the second activity of the regional BRIDGE project offered for election management bodies' staff in the Central and Eastern-European region. ACEEEO also offers few self-funded places for interested international organizations.

  • Oct 07, 2011: BRIDGE foundation modules workshop for EMBs staff representatives The ACEEEO through a sub-grant from IFES provides institutional capacity building with BRIDGE methodology for representatives of national election management bodies from Central and Eastern-European Region.

    The introductory 5-days workshop aims to familiarize regional EMB executives and representatives with the BRDIGE methodology. ACEEEO offers some self-funded places for international partner organizations.
     

  • Jun 18, 2011: 20th Jubilee Anniversary Conference of the ACEEEO In 2011 the Association of European Election Officials will celebrate its 20th anniversary. As the ACEEEO was established in Budapest, Hungary, back in 1991, the 20th jubilee conference will be held in the same city. Moreover, during the first half of year 2011, Hungary will take on the presidency of the European Union. The 20th ACEEEO conference, as one of the non-official accompanying event of the Hungarian EU presidency, will be held in June 2011.     Dear Friends and Partners of the ACEEEO,
     
                I hope my letter finds you in good health. 
     
                2011 is going to be a big date for the Association of European Election Officials: the organization is going to celebrate its 20th anniversary. To commemorate this important jubilee, the 20th annual conference will be organized in Budapest, Hungary, where the Association was created 20 years ago. 
     
                On the other side 2011 is an important year for Hungary as well: in the first part of the year, for 6 months (1st January – 30th June), Hungary will take on the Presidency of the European Union for the very first time.
     
                I would like to invite you to celebrate our 20th anniversary with us in Budapest, during Hungarian EU presidency: from 15 – 18 June 2011. The 20th ACEEEO conference shall be part of the non-official accompanying programs of the EU presidency.
     
                This year some new changes are to be done: conference registration will be done electronically on a website dedicated to the 20th jubilee conference.   • Nov 27, 2009: ACEEEO Training: Capacity Building for Afghan Election Officials This event was organized by ACEEEO in collaboration with International Centre for Democratic Transition, and granted by the Ministry of International Affairs of Hungary. Afghan election officials from Baghlan province participated in the training and both ACE and BRIDGE were presented.
  • Jul 03, 2009: Second ACEEEO European Parliamentary Elections Evaluation Seminar Following the EPE evaluation seminar in Cardiff, UK, that took place in 2004, ACEEEO organized the 2nd EPE Evaluation Seminar in Budapest, Hungary with the collaboration of Hungarian National Office. 13 countries from the European region participated in the seminar and topics such as increasing voter turnout, information exchange among EU member states before finalizing voters' lists and information exchange of the results, were discussed. Additionally, ACE was also promoted.
  • Feb 05, 2009: Global Elections Day (ACEEEO) As part of the celebrations of the Global Elections Day, ACEEEO organized a round table discussion with politicians, staff of the Electoral Management Bodies as well as secondary school students, with a focus on first time voters. ACE was promoted as part of this event.
  • Apr 22, 2008: ACEEEO Training for Moldavian Election Officials ACEEEO conducted training for the members of the Central Election Commission and the Territorial Election Commission of Moldova.
