Emmanuel Kamwi

Emmanuel Kamwi is a Governance Specialist with over ten years’ experience working in Asia, Africa and Europe. Emmanuel has worked for both local and international organizations including the United Nations. Emmanuel possesses experience in leading teams of international election observers and in coordinating international election observation missions. Among other skills, Emmanuel possess skills in facilitating training for international election observers. Emmanuel has been an international election observer during the 2017 Kenyan General Elections, 2018 Zimbabwe General Elections, 2019, Malawi General Elections, and the 2022 Kenyan General Elections. In Zimbabwe and Kenya, in his capacity as the lead election observer, Emmanuel served as the head of the election observation missions. In Denmark, where there has not been a practice of observing elections, Emmanuel initiated and conducted a training for ethnic minorities, immigrants and foreign students on election observations, and in 2017 and 2021, in consultation with Helsingør and Copenhagen municipalities of Denmark, Emmanuel facilitated the engagement of a group of ethnic minorities, immigrants and foreign students to participate in Regional and Municipal Council Elections as election observers.
