Margie CookMargie Cook has been managing electoral support programs for the UN since 2001 in Nigeria, Tanzania, Cambodia, Kenya and Afghanistan and is currently Team Leader / Project Manager of the Drivers of Accountability Program (DAP) in Kenya. She has led needs assessment/review and evaluation missions for DfID, DANIDA, the Commonwealth Secretariat and other agencies in Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Uganda, Rwanda, Fiji, Pakistan, Tanzania etc; has been the senior electoral consultant for the National Nine Television Network in Australia since 1987; was Director of Public Affairs at the Australian Human Rights Commission from 1996-2001; and is a former adviser to AusAID. She has also carried out numerous training programs for the OHCHR in emerging insitutions in Mongolia, Georgia and Latvia and has worked extensivcley in media in Australia on aid and development issues. |
