Ingo BoltzI'm a versatile technology consultant with over ten years of experience in managing technical projects. I started out in the private sector but have been dedicating myself to the non-profit world since 2003. Electronic voting, biometric voter registration systems and other applications of information technology in electoral processes has been my key focus since 2005. I have been working in electoral observation missions and technical assistance projects of organizations such as the Carter Center, the OAS and DI/USAid. I love combinations of technical work with politics and civil issues. Before getting into the electoral field I have worked on causes as diverse as the fight against HIV/AIDS in South Africa, campaigning for freedom of access to information in Argentina, combating climate change in the Maldives. I learn quickly and am stimulated by a new field. Besides serving on the staff or NGOs and Multinational Organizations, I also have been running a small web development business for a few years, with progressive NGOs as my clients. |
