Henry AtemDr. Henry Atem Oben is an international political and electoral affairs professional with extensive experience in political analysis, electoral administration, democratic governance, and international election assistance. His distinguished professional career spans national, regional, and international institutions, including Elections Cameroon (ELECAM), the African Union, The Carter Center, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and the United Nations. Dr. Atem Oben currently serves as Executive Director of the United States International Center for Electoral Support (USICES), where he leads initiatives aimed at strengthening electoral institutions, promoting democratic governance, and providing technical and advisory assistance to countries across Sub-Saharan Africa. In this capacity, he collaborates with international organizations, governments, electoral management bodies, and other key stakeholders to advance credible electoral processes, strengthen institutional capacity, and support sustainable democratic development. |
