Jérôme Leyraud, a seasoned technical cooperation specialist and electoral expert, has been working for more than 20 years with international organisations in Africa, Middle East, Eastern Europe, Central and Southern Asia, Central America and the Pacific. With a wide-ranging field expertise, he has developed a thorough understanding of international cooperation issues with specific emphasis on governance, democratisation and peace building. Specialised in electoral operations in post conflict environments, he has advised many election commissions across the world. He is graduated from the Paris Institute of Political Studies (Third Cycle-DEA, 1992) and the Grenoble Institute of Political Studies (MA, 1986).
