Member of International Organization

Andras Palatitz

Passionate about Africa and the developing world, I am particularly interested in international politics, development and cooperation issues (especially the relationship between Europe and Africa). Holding an MA degree in International Relations and as a PhD candidate in Political Science, my education has provided me with tools for analyzing and evaluating complex political issues. And my previous positions helped me to develop the necessary skills to successfully support the work of international organizations and NGOs in diverse professional and cultural environments. As a result of my dedication to the African continent, I have travelled and volunteered in many African countries during the last five years (Mauritania, Morocco, Senegal, The Democratic Republic of the Congo, and The Gambia). I would be more than happy to return. Constantly searching learning opportunities in the field of development policy and humanitarianism, I have collected a wide range of knowledge on initiatives, best practices, techniques and vehicles to eradicate poverty and improve international assistance in Africa. My latest research theme, which resulted in a MA thesis, is “land tenure and asset management in hybrid political systems of Sub Saharan Africa”. Specialties: political analyses, policy evaluation, resource management, knowledge-sharing, couching, research planning, editing, African issues
