Zsolt Bartfai

I have been dealing with election related issues since 1998. This has included theoretical experience, work for the Hungarian National Election Commission as legal adviser, field work in Kosovo and other places, and policy-making and managing experience gathered at European Commission. At the European Commission (between 2006 and 2010) I was responsible for organisation and daily management of some EU Election Observation Missions (e.g. Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, the Solomon Island, etc.). As part of my job I also dealt with electoral legal issues and became familiar both election observation methodology and wide variety of electoral systems in practice.
