Monte McMurchy

Fluent in French, Member of UNDP Democratic Governance Roster For Electoral Systems with 20+ years international experience in Civic Electoral Building and Civil Capacity Good Governance Development coupled with an academic background to the post graduate level in Ethics, Epistemology, Education, Political Science, Law and Moral Philosophy has allowed me to be both reflective in civic electoral considerations as well as being able to consider prescriptive normative civic electoral considerations. My international assignments included civic electoral service with The OSCE-UN-Commonwealth-Council of Europe-USAID-CIDA-Government of Ontario where I rendered administrative/electoral advice. My knowledge of the salient social and political ethos found in ‘fragile state’ type environments has assisted me greatly in civic electoral assignments as I am most familiar with the legislative, legal, social political demographic nuances. I have planned/directed significant civic electoral programs including rendering strategic advice and I provide written and oral reports to short deadlines. I have a strong background in electoral regulatory and statutory interpretation and have cultivated an expertise in Public Administration and International Project Management and Development, which includes Mission Budget Protocols. I pride myself as an Educator and Facilitator able to reduce complex issues into basic elements for ease of understanding. My international assignments abroad have demonstrated my ability to multi-task under stress without losing my poise and sense of humour. Member UNDP Expert Roster For Crisis Prevention and Recovery; Member UNDP Expert Roster For Parliamentary Development.
