Avery Davis-Roberts

Avery Davis-Roberts is Assistant Director in the Democracy Program of The Carter Center. Ms. Davis-Roberts has helped implement Carter Center election observation missions in Indonesia, the Palestinian Territories and Venezuela. She was a member of The Carter Center's team on the inter-organizational, collaborative effort to create the Declaration of Principles for International Election Observation. She is currently the manager of the Center's Democratic Election Standards Project, which seeks to articulate criteria for election assessment based on public international law. Ms. Davis-Roberts holds a Masters of Law degree (LL.M) in International Human Rights Law, and a joint honors BA in Arabic and Law, both from the School of Oriental and African Studies at the University of London.
