Tayeb Merchoug

I am a former diplomat,served in Tunisia, Cote d'Ivoire and Brazil. I am currenty a United Nations Retiree, after serving the organisation for thirty (30)years. My last assignment was with United Nations Electoral Assistance (10 Years) during which I undertook more than 30 electoral need assessment missions. I also provided electoral assistance in several areas, in particular observations. I also served as Special Assistant to the Secretary-General Special Representatives in South Africa and Haiti. I was also United Nations Observer to the Mozambique Peace talks held in Italy. Recently, I was UNDP consultant in Cambodia (four times) and the Philippines.
