Desde 1995 colaboro en la Coordinación de Asuntos Internacionales del Instituto Federal Electoral de México, donde he tenido la oportunidad de participar en diferentes ejercicios de cooperación horizontal interinstitucional sobre temas diversos de la democracia electoral. Una de mis responsabilidades es la atención de los extranjeros que vienen a presenciar las elecciones federales mexicanas. He cumplido la primera mitad del requisito para ser facilitador BRIDGE.
