Azerbaijan: International election observers hold press conference (2010)
The international observers monitoring the parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan will present their preliminary post-election statement at a news conference on Monday, 8 November, in Baku. The international observation is a common endeavour involving the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (OSCE/ODIHR), the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly (OSCE PA), the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) and the European Parliament (EP). The preliminary statement will be delivered by Wolfgang Grossruck who leads the short-term OSCE observer mission and heads the OSCE PA delegation, followed by Paul Wille, Head of the PACE delegation, Anneli Jäätteenmaki, Head of the EP delegation, and Ambassador Audrey Glover, Head of the OSCE/ODIHR long-term election observation mission.
