Opposition 'will not accept' Equatorial Guinea election, BBC News (2009)
The main opposition candidate that contested in the presidential election claims that the polls were not free and fair, and he will therefore not accept the result. He is joined in his criticism by human rights groups that point out that governing party dominates the media and the electoral commission is run by President Nguema's minister of the interior.
