20th Jubilee Anniversary Conference of the ACEEEO

In 2011 the Association of European Election Officials will celebrate its 20th anniversary. As the ACEEEO was established in Budapest, Hungary, back in 1991, the 20th jubilee conference will be held in the same city. Moreover, during the first half of year 2011, Hungary will take on the presidency of the European Union. The 20th ACEEEO conference, as one of the non-official accompanying event of the Hungarian EU presidency, will be held in June 2011. Dear Friends and Partners of the ACEEEO,
 
            I hope my letter finds you in good health. 
 
            2011 is going to be a big date for the Association of European Election Officials: the organization is going to celebrate its 20th anniversary. To commemorate this important jubilee, the 20th annual conference will be organized in Budapest, Hungary, where the Association was created 20 years ago. 
 
            On the other side 2011 is an important year for Hungary as well: in the first part of the year, for 6 months (1st January – 30th June), Hungary will take on the Presidency of the European Union for the very first time.
 
            I would like to invite you to celebrate our 20th anniversary with us in Budapest, during Hungarian EU presidency: from 15 – 18 June 2011. The 20th ACEEEO conference shall be part of the non-official accompanying programs of the EU presidency.
 
            This year some new changes are to be done: conference registration will be done electronically on a website dedicated to the 20th jubilee conference. My colleagues will keep you updated with all necessary information regarding this very special event of 2011. For further information please contact the Secretariat [email protected] .
