Kenya: Panel selects three for IEBC chair, Daily Nation (2011)

This article talks of the process of selecting the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) commissioners who will take over from the IIEC commissioners. The IIEC was a temporary body but had the mandate to recruit qualified professionals who would conduct elections in Kenya. The Selection panel in the article state that they have been true to there mandate and it is now upon the President and Prime Minister to select who they would like to be in the IEBC and submit the names to Parliament for further scrutiny and appointment. A total of 13 candidates for the Member and 3 for the Chairperson were submitted.
