Liberia's NEC to announce by-election results Saturday, but CDC already claims victory, VOA News (2009)

Even though the official results of the contested senatorial by-election will be announced on Saturday, the Congress for Democratic Change announced the victory of its candidate in the first round of the election, indicating that there may be a run off with the ruling Unity Party candidate.
