Northern Mariana Islands: Benigno Fitial wins CNMI election run-off, Radio Australia News (2009)

Despite alleged unpopularity in the community, the incumbent governor of Northern Mariana Islands, Benigno Fitial won the run-off gubernatorial election and was certified as a winner by the Commonwealth Election Commission. He will serve a five year term until 2014.
