According to the official results, President Obiang has been re-elected with 95% of the votes cast. The main opposition candidate has already announced that he will not accept the results and many of the human rights groups don't consider the poll free and fair either.

Teodoro Obiang Nguema, the President of Equatorial Guinea who has been in power since 1979 coup, expects a landslide victory in Sunday elections, possibly with even a better result than in 2002, when he received 97.1% of votes.
