The following are principles of ethical behaviour for the media, based on the Code of Ethics of the Society of Professional Journalists, the Associated Press Managing Editors’ Statement of Ethical Principles and Gannett Newspaper Division’s Principles of Ethical Conduct for Newsrooms.[1]
