Manuel J. KrippManuel is an experienced voting technology expert and consultant with deep understanding of electoral processes, voting technologies and software project and product management. Until recently he has been the co-founder and managing partner of POLYAS GmbH. The first German online voting solutions provider. Under his responsibility have been the planning, conception and development of the voting software as well as the requirements engineering with the clients. Prior to this Manuel was the Managing Director of the Competence Center for Electronic Voting and Participation (E-Voting.CC), which he had joined in 2007. There he was responsible for operations as well as establishing the consulting business at the intersection of politics, technology, and legal affairs. Among others hew was responsible for the Generic E-Democracy Toolkit of the Council of Europe, the EVOTE2012 conference, the Modern Democracy Magazine and held several trainings and workshops with election observers and election commissions on the topic of E-Voting and new voting technologies. He holds a Master's Degree in Political Science from the Geschwister-Scholl-Institut for Political Science and attended courses at the University of Helsinki and the Essex Summer School in Social Science Data Analysis. |
