Mette BakkenMette Bakken works as an IDEA Programme Officer for the Elections Programme in the African Region and is located in Pretoria, South Africa. Her previous experience includes working as an Electoral Expert for the European Center for Electoral Support and as an Elections Officer at UNDP in Brussels. Ms. Bakken’s main interests relate to electoral reform, electoral system design, civil society engagement in electoral processes, gender and elections and effective electoral assistance. She holds an MA in comparative politics from the University of Bergen (Norway) and in Research Methods from the European University Institute in Florence (Italy). |
