I work for the Electoral Commission of South Africa andhave been doing so for more than 10 years, in different disciplines. I currently hold the position of Deputy Chief Electoral Officer, with responsibility for Electoral Operations. The function deals with delimitation of voting districts, the registration of voters and compilation of the voters' roll, the registration of/and liasion with political parties, voting station and local office infrastructure, electoral logistics, and, voting and accounting, amongst others.
