Velko Miloev

A former journalist, a freelance consultant since 1996. Main areas of interest and expertise: electoral technical assistance, observation, civic / voter education, participation of disadvantaged groups, CSOs’ involvement in the electoral process. Worked as a consultant, project manager, advisor in a number of emerging/transitional democracies or post-conflict countries, including my home-country Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Afghanistan, Iraq, Sudan, for the OSCE, IFES, NDI, EU, UN and domestic NGOs. Author of two books on the recent history and ethnic conflicts on the Balkans.
