Member of an Electoral Management Body/Election Commission |
Charles Benjamin Nsimbi-KabugujjoI am a 42 year old graduate of Food Science & Technology of Makerere University with a post graduate diploma in Management from Uganda Management Institute (UMI). I have also just submitted my thesis for a Master of Management Studies of UMI. I work at the Uganda Registration Services Bureau as Manager, Civil Registration after leaving the Electoral Commission where I was heading voter registration from 2003 to July 2012. I supervise registration offices (data collection centers) in all the 112 districts. This includes planning, budgeting for, implementing, monitoring and evaluating all registration activities. I am also a member of the National Task Force (NTF) on Revitalisation of Birth & Death Registration programme funded by UNICEF, UNFPA and Plan International. The NTF oversees activities, supervises and offers technical assistance in project areas. I am, therefore, the leading expert on mass registration systems in Uganda today. |
