Presentation of books: History of Elections and Glossary of Election Terms (Tbilisi, Georgia, from Dec 07, 2009 12:00 PM to Dec 07, 2009 12:00 PM)
Central Election Commission of Georgia with United Nations Development Programme presents two books: “History of Elections” and “Glossary of Election Terms”. December 7, the presentation was held at “Sheraton Metekhi Palace”.

The Central Electoral Commission of Georgia will present its strategy and action plan for 2010-2011.

The Central Election Commission (CEC) of Georgia will present the final results of the voters’ list monitoring implemented by the political parties and will submit the report on CEC activities regarding the voters list. The representatives of media, political parties, local NGOs, international organizations, and diplomatic corps accredited in Georgia will attend the event.

The international observers deployed by the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (OSCE/ODIHR) and the Council of Europe's Congress of Local and Regional Authorities will present their preliminary statement at a news conference on Monday, 31 May 2010.

Georgian opposition parties to present joint project of Electoral Code (Tbilisi, Sheraton Metechi Palace Hotel, from Oct 04, 2010 11:00 AM to Oct 04, 2010 12:30 PM)
Eight opposition parties of Georgia will present a joint project of the Election Code. The draft project was developed by the following opposition parties of Georgia - "National Forum", "Republican Party", "Our Georgia - Free Democrats", "Georgia's Way", "New Right", "Christian-Democratic Movement" and "People's Party".

On December 2-7, within the framework of UNDP project "Developing Capacities for Democratic Institutions for Fair Electoral Processes and Active Civil Participation" BRIDGE training has been conducted for the CEC members and heads of CEC Departments.
BRIDGE training in Georgia: Electoral Administration and Observers (Batumi, Georgia, from Jan 28, 2011 10:00 AM to Feb 12, 2011 05:00 PM)
The trainings will be hosted by UNDP/Georgia, in the framework of the project "Promoting Dialogue and Capacity for Effective National Electoral Processes." The project is carried out with the financial support of European Union. Three trainings will be carried out, on 28-31 January, 3-6 February, and 9-12 February, 2011.

Within the framework of UNDP project "Developing Capacities for Democratic Institutions for Fair Electoral Processes and Active Civil Participation" BRIDGE training has been conducted for the election administration representatives. Heads of the CEC offices and chairpersons of six district election commissions participated in the above mentioned trainings.
