EISA Workshop on Performance of Political Parties in the 2009 Elections: Examining the Weakening of Party Systems in Malawi

This workshop took place as a part of the post election review. The principal goal of the workshop was to reflect on the 2009 presidential and parliamentary elections in Malawi and critically assess its implications for institutionalisation of the party system in view of the fact that parties play a key role in the democratisation process. ACE was promoted during this event.
