Les ressources d'éducation à l'électorat sont normalement disponibles sous forme d'échantillons et d'études d'évaluation de programmes exécutés dans une variété de pays. Même là, celles-ci se retrouvent souvent parmi des évaluations plus générales d'une élection. Certaines de ces études d'évaluation sont énumérées dans la bibliographie générale à la fin de ce module (voir Éducation de l'électorat - Bibliographie).
Nous devons nous rappeler que le matériel d'éducation de l'électorat est souvent éphémère et qu'il est rarement recueilli avec la discipline nécessaire en relation avec le contexte électoral dans lequel il a été utilisé. Gardant ce fait en tête, le document de travail, Good Commonwealth Electoral Practice, apporte un aperçu contextuel d'élections dans lequel l'éducation civique et de l'électorat peut être comprise.
